2024 Information About Our League

REGISTRATION FOR FALL 2024 IS HAPPENING NOW THROUGH June 30th.
To register, go to the top of this website and click on "Registration". You will be prompted to create an account and then answer the registration questions. Keep clicking "continue" until it says, "Congratulations, you are registered". It will also give you a confirmation number.
The participation fee is $100 for football, $50 for cheer. However, we offer a raffle ticket program to offset this entire cost. Please see below. If you would rather pay the fee outright, we will collect that in July at Equipment Handout. Raffle tickets will be handed out at Equipment Handout.

OBJECTIVE OF OUR PROGRAM:
The objective of RFYF is to teach kids in 5th-8th grade the football and cheerleading skills they need to be successful at Rock Falls High School, while promoting good sportsmanship and physical and mental development through healthy, organized competition and teamwork.
REGISTRATION INFO:
If you reside in Rock Falls IL, and your student will be in 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th grade on Sept 1 2023, you can register them to play or cheer in our league. This year, all registration is taking place online on this website.
Please register online for Rock Falls Youth Football and Cheer in May, 2024. Here is how to register:
1.) On this website. You can use a computer, ipad, tablet, smartphone, etc. Click the "Register" button at the top right of this website. This will take you to an online questionnaire. No money will be collected at this time. Be sure to keep clicking "Continue" at the bottom of each page until it says, "Congratulations, you are registered". You will then have a confirmation number and know that you are fully registered.
2.) At The Rock Falls Library - they will direct you to a computer and this website.
3.) At Rock Falls High School - they will direct you to a computer and this website.
FEE INFO
The fee to play Football is $100 per player. There are three ways to pay this fee:
1.) Pay $100
2.) Pay $50 and sell 10 raffle tickets at $5.00 each
3.) Sell 20 raffle tickets at $5 each
The fee to Cheer is $50 per participant. There are two ways to pay this fee:
1.) Pay $50.00
2.) Sell 10 raffle tickets at $5.00 each
Participants will receive their game jerseys/cheer uniform only when the above commitments are fulfilled.
SPORTS PHYSICALS
EACH PARTICIPANT WILL NEED TO HAVE A CURRENT PHYSICAL. THE DOWNLOADABLE FORM IS HERE as well as on our home page. This form will need to be filled out and signed by a physician, and then turned in at equipment hand-out, or at the first practice. Students unfortunately are not able to practice until the form is completed and turned in.

RAFFLE INFO
For those participants who would like to partially or fully fund their participation fee by selling raffle tickets, here is the info: Raffle tickets will be handed out during equipment hand out. All raffle ticket stubs plus the money collected will be required to be turned before the first game. There will be a drawing and prizes awarded.
Players choosing to sell raffle tickets will not receive a game jersey until their ticket stubs and money are turned in.
RFYF Merchandise: Dick's Sporting Goods has a small RFYF store on this website. If you would like to order RFYF merchandise for your family, just click on the "store" tab at the top of this website. A small percentage of sales is given back to the league.
What is Football "Camp"? Football Camp is a fun week of optional non-contact, grass drills practice which occurs before the official season begins. Camp is for all ages, including kids from the NIYTF League, our RFYF league, and the RFHS teams. All players are encouraged to attend.
